Your load has a pick up date and an ending date. Upon reaching the end date you set in the eld, you will need to select another pick up date (which is no earlier than today's date) and another end date with load number, trailer number, and bol number. -
Probably depends on the ELD. The two systems I’ve used (Motive and Geotab) once you enter the info it stays until you remove it.
prostartom and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
You need the trailer number and load info on every log for every day. Like others said it depends on on your ELD setup. The 3 different one I have used all carry over all the information to the next day. So the only time I had to change it was when I switched trailers or unload and get a different load.

Again it depends on the eld. Mine has start and end date

Motive you can go into the settings and make it so it doesn't carry over, I drop and hook alot and am switching loads at least twice a day, so for me that works, if you have it set to carry over then it will carry over all info until you go in and change it when you drop that load you were under
bryan21384 Thanks this.
