I hear that, I always have graph paper around. Will often have structural drawings for work. I send them to the engineer in my childlike form, she will put into plan drawings and put her stamp on it. It’s cheaper for the boss that way. Added plus is the builder usually comes up with a slicker solution than the engineers, we have seen it before and have found the better fix through doing it a few times

I appreciate that, I am managing more than building now, don’t like it. Boss insists I am not going anywhere,” if you get into the big trucks, I want to have the same name on the door “ he says.. we go back almost 30 years. Would be cool to get some stuff to move around. He has a really good Rolodex.
Thanks again

I’m thinking to have a padded square of 6x6 with an open middle block for the bottom. Four triangle style braces of 6x6 ( easier to stack when done and easier to lug alone, also makes great 90 braces turned the other way) . Then I think similar to the bowl with a forward strap and a backwards strap. One side to side over the top. A final x strap over everything would be cheap insurance. The broad base on the braces makes them easier to double chain to the deck to keep them where they are.
Diesel Dave and OldeSkool Thank this. -
If I ever have some weird crazy shaped thing I want moved I’ll send you a message lol.Carpenter Scotty and Diesel Dave Thank this.

This is a top view showing the brace positioning. Diagonal gives me side to side resistance without having to have anything overhanging or close to it on the sides.

This is getting me out of ironing just now.Bean Jr. and Diesel Dave Thank this.
