Well there she is, pretty crappy job I know lmao you can see where the tarp is ripped and missing all those o rings; guy said I only had to tarp the first two rows and I almost got the whole thing with one tarp; you can see basically what I did all the way to the front of the trailer where those straps are, alternating pull

Okay, 1st you dont have near enough bungees. 2nd, put your straps over the tarp to hold it down if you don't have enough bungees. I dont give a flying F what anyone else says, you tarp and secure how you need to. That is gonna be a huge sail going down the road.
booley, blairandgretchen and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
I can't remember what this load was, but its secured the same way shingles would be.booley, Shawn2130 and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
Yeah if that’s the case I think I’ll do that because I don’t have enough bungees to do it like you’re saying with 2 tarps
-
Just in case you couldn’t tell I’ve got bungees running all down the trailer, just can’t see them on that one picture because they’re out of view and I added some more just nowShawn2130 Thanks this.

Oh no....
(I know I am going to sound like a buster, and I really don't want to, but...)
When they assigned you your truck, was the truck stocked with all the equipment or did you have to load it up yourself? I don't know anything about WE, but I would have assumed that they gave you an inventory list of what's on the truck. You need to have 100 bungees on hand. Secondly, the very first thing you do when they give you a tarp, be it brand new or used, is unfold it and fold it your way. If you would have done that, you would have realized that tarp is missing the majority of the D rings. It is almost worthless on a short load. You don't want to show up at a customer with surprises like that. That's bad for business.
I understand, you're brand new. This is just for future reference.
EDIT: For you guys who own your tarps, they sell little clamp on o rings that will allow you to tighten down a tarp that's missing entire d ring strips like the one pictured.booley, jamespmack, Shawn2130 and 4 others Thank this. -
No offense to 64, but six as you know....its common sense to inventory your equip every trip. That way your ready the next load.Last edited: Jun 26, 2020

You could have put that tarp on the rear with the flap part that's all ripped up towards the cab of the truck ( backwards basically) and then when you put the 2nd tarp on the front it would have overlapped that back tarp anyhow and the ripped part would be covered up.
Probably not the best explanation... Hopefully not confusing you...booley, TripleSix and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
I don’t take any offense to helpful criticism, if anything that’s why I post here; good idea on rolling the tarps the way you want them before taking off, didn’t even cross my mind; I did an inventory check and I guess I thought I had more bungees than what I did, might have to buy some more and save the receipt; they didn’t have anything for me at that terminal and I ended up hooking up to an empty trailer that had two tarps on it
