Well it just took me 1 hour and 40 minutes to take both tarps off, straps, edge protectors and put them all away; not sure if this is an improvement for me or not cause this is my first run around the block

Being you've been out with a trainer, you should be a little faster, but obviously that guy didnt teach you anything.

Ive been trying to get the tarp pics and how to posted in this thread, I just need 10 extra min of being able to sit still without holding the steering wheel, lol.

    Okay quick and dirty...

Fold your front/rear flaps up on the tarp:

Start at one end and fold each side to the center:

*Note the clamps Im using to hold then ends. They act like a 2nd set of hands when folding the opposite end of the tarp.*

Fold your sides over 1 more time so that they're completely folded up on top of the load:

Then fold in half so that they look like this:

At this point, fold the back upto the front it halfs the length, then roll them up tightly and put a bungee around them:

I fold steel tarps this way. Note, not my video but it’s how I do it.

Sweet I’ll have to try this out; I fold mine the same pretty much, but always took them off the truck first

Think about all the energy you expend pulling them off, straightening them out, then hoisting them back up on the deck.

When they're undone and covering the load, they're already spread out. Once they're rolled up, you only have to toss them down onto the deck or wait till whatever they're covering is unloaded and brought down to deck height.

And if you're ever in line somewhere to get delivered, go help someone in front of you. 2 people folding tarps on the ground goes fast

Yeah I had a guy walk up on me who also drives for WE flatbed, him and his son helped me out with my second tarp, ended up giving him this tablet or IPad the dude who had this truck last left lol I definitely like that method of rolling the up while on top of the load, should save me some time

Bean Jr. and Wasted Thyme Thank this.

Machinery can take time. A lot of work to do to get them properly covered.
