You should see my pantry, it was a 10x12 bedroom before it was converted.

 

Ever since I started shopping at Sam's Club, I've had an over abundance.

How long until the wife and I use a gallon of ketchup?

Oh man !! You shoulda gotten the smaller bottles by the case ! Only a few cents differance per ounce. And they'll keep much longer.

Naaa, I been preaching that for years. But since the people "in the know" said it over the last couple of months...it must be true LOL

 

There is no real crisis here, it's just poor management by our government. After all, when they pay farmers not to grow a certain crop to cause a "shortage" to drive up the price for export; did they not ever think that one day it would catch up to them? Now the problem is the Ethanol program. It's more profitable for farmers to grow corn than other food crop. We can't blame the farmers, they're trying to feed their families too.

Corn based Ethanol was/is and will always be a stupid idea. Why not do what Brazil has done, sugar-cane based ethanol.

 

They didn't have those the day I was there, and I needed ketchup ASAP.
