Load Up the Pantry

Stockpiling isn't really feasible, unless it's nonperishables like cans of sardines. When that weak hurricane came through Virginia a couple years back and knocked out power for a couple weeks, people were buying cases of water like it was Armageddon, and I looked at them like they were nuts. We just took out some cans of tuna and held it over the candles to cook.

Stockpiling food is just going to cause more problems. And probably food wars.

 

Maybe our government has learned from Katrina and they'll be there to help

 

Excuse me? We don't just stockpile food here. We've got one hell of a stockpile of ammo and black powder.

Never do anything half ###

 

It pays to have a cattle rancher in the family, freezer full of Black Angus.

 

I'll swap home canned fruit preserves and jam for a couple of steaks

We have a large menu to choose from.

Of course, you'll be responcible for method of shipping. Your meat can still walk...my preserves...uh not so good at walking

 

Well if everything DOES go to the crapper, I'll just preserve myself. I.E. drink myself stupid.
