You are right, I forgot about that.
Salinas scale got us twice once for 20 pounds over on one axle on a spread, had to move the load.
the oher ime was less than a hundred, don't recall the exact number.

when you pull onto the scales. kind of hit the brakes hard. make the scales rock. they cant get true weight until it stops. so they give you the green light.

40 pounds? Seriously? $20 says if you weighed again your drives could very well show 34, 34020, 34060. That’s not even enough to worry about. Even a certified scale isn’t going to be exactly on the dot.

For example, here’s my last load. Both certified scales but I doubt I magically gained 100 pounds of product on my way to California.
