Loadboards: DAT-360 vs Members Edge

Sounded like you were getting most calls from DAT in the other post. Whichever brings in the most wins. The thing is that will vary in different areas and different times. I see less loads on ITS almost everywhere.

 

Another thing about ITS, a lot of people complain about this one too not just me, is that it has a tendency to freeze up and/or go down at least a time or two every week. Usually when you need it the most. Very aggravating. Never see that with DAT.

 

I should also add...it is not that I see loads really....more like the brokers can see a accurate description of me I think. It is just a waaaaay more robust interface. So I assume it is in the broker end as well.

I post my truck and they see it and call me.

I am seeing that it simply can't really hurt to just be on both!

 

Truckersedge and Membersedge are both outdated technology. DAT Power is a whole different layout. Way better than basic ITS. Not even in the same league.

 

Just like the old 3406 mechanicals reliable strong and quick, now we have all this new fangled electronic BS you breakdown because of a sensor LOL


Ok Ok Ok I may just try ITS for a month or two and see if it works for me..... but good lord....150 a month i just look at the price per month and I have a really hard time justifying that expense......

 

You can get it cheaper then that, that must be with all the extras added in.

 

I took TruckStop.com for a test drive and WHOLY MOLEY It is slick!
I am also going thru the DAT Solutions Videos right now to see how that good that Board is.
I think what i liked the most about it was the automatic calculation for my FUEL costs to run the load,
Just having a hard time wraping my head around the Pro Package, BUT I Know for me...its gotta be the full Monty.
So with that being said I will be making the switch at the end of the next billing cycle.

 

I think you meant OOIDA is $45 per year not per month. And you get a whole lot more than a load board discount.
