I'm trying to think of the name of the valve that goes on the vent line to automatically stop the diesel from coming out.

    Anyone?

Looking around it might be called a Scully valve ?

I'm trying to buy my own tanker of diesel so just outfitting one of my old tankers to be able to.

Sounds confusing but you’re not thinking of the interlock are you? It’s on top of my vapor, sets the trailer brakes and the fire valves won’t actuate unless set

Theres a check valve on the vapor recovery that prevents vapor from escaping when you open your fire valves. Not sure what it's called. And like what was said, theres a brake interlock on top of the vapor recovery that sets the brakes when hooked up. You have a Scully thermistor or optic installed? Most places around here use that.
