loading/unloading times...

    I log 15 for most loads, that's all it actually takes any more. It's not like the old days when we had to either unload the trailer or stand at the back and watch each pallet go into the trailer and tally the count as it was loaded. Now they don't let us in the warehouse so loading and unloading time is very short.

    Me too,all DOT really cares about is that you got your right amount of rest and didn't go over hrs.

    Thanks for the info...I usually log the 15 on duty but forgot with this load...I will let safety edit it tomorrow...

    Never once logged any time on duty for load or unload. As soon as I arrived every customer has told me to go straight to the drivers room........yeah that works. Anyway, never had a log violation.
