I've picked up loads in California that weren't legal for California. One I think I ran with as it was only like 100lbs over on the trailer, didn't have an issue.

Diesel Dave and Sixela918 Thank this.

Diesel Dave. Easy man to track. Leaves loads of freight at receivers everywhere he goes.

Diesel Dave and Oxbow Thank this.

48 ft trailers don’t exist anymore? I’m lost.

Nice to see someone who understands this!

Just to be clear, there are no points assigned to size/weight violations in PSP. It was in the initial proposal, but dropped before implementation. KPRA violations may get points, but overweights don't.

Diesel Dave, InTooDeep and ducnut Thank this.

They are still out there but not many people pull them anymore. 53 is the standard. I have not pulled a 48 in last 20 years

Better question is how come almost every cold storage in the country loads for California bridge and you Gotta argue with them till you’re blue in the face to stretch the load out because I don’t feel like riding around my Tandems up underneath the belly of the #### trailer

    Hammer166 Thanks this.
