Yeah I just searched them. They must be really good like Gemini Transport. Couldn't find anything in the Florida region but the pay in other states makes me debate moving lol

Im still leased to Landstar, and I have no problems with loads. I turn down at least 5 a day...

I should maybe add as far as my haz mat goes, I did have a secret clearance back in the 70s (army), so that may have had something to do with why it was processed so quick.

A lot of great suggestions on here, I've had my CDL for a year now in eastern Florida (Fort Pierce, Port Saint Lucie areas) and I went through the same things you went through in the beginning. I applied for over 50+ carriers/companies and recieved rejections letters, I became desperate and resorted to applying for jobs that didnt require a CDL however I knew they had jobs within the company that required a CDL. I applied for a local arborist company as a tree climber (with no intentions on climbing trees) but my resume had CDL on it, and under additional information I put "I currently have my Class A CDL, I'm unsure if I could put it to use for the company as an additional asset" something along the lines, and bam, they called me 2 hours after applying asking if I wanted to drive a grapple truck for them with no experience. I've since left that company after 6 months and found something much closer to home. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box to get yourself noticed, but above all stand out from other applicants. In the beginning it was a very sobering reality check that yes, it is extremely difficult to start driving local (or even OTR) without experience, however dont get discouraged and keep putting yourself out there, something will come around eventually.

What are some good dry bulk companies that Hire new grads as this is what I'm looking into because apparently the HazMat takes forever to obtain in my area?

I posted on another thread in response to your post on that thread.
Florida Rock & Tank hires new cdl school grads for non-hazmat dry bulk.
This photo is a dry bulk trailer.

Hey @Chinatown sorry to bother you again. Idk know if this is your field of expertise but im thinking of sticking to class B work. Do you know any good Class B Jobs. I heard for this class it's Normally Propane, and Fleet Fuel Delivery. Thanks again lol I'm open to it all. But I've been told it's a better lifestyle in class b as well if you have kids.

Some Class-B work is ok, but keep your CDL-A updated in case you may need it in the future.
What about Florida Rock & Tank? That's usually local work.
