If you punch a clock, 12 hrs a day, 5 days a week, no log required. If we worked more than 12, had to show activities on a log, ie driving, on duty not driving. Some of the rules may have changed. But pretty sure it’s still time card only, within 12 hrs.Otherwise regular re cap for 7 day, or 34 hr reset for 6 day operation would be possible.

Once a driver operates beyond the 100-air mile radius, the HOS regulations apply. Therefore, starting at the time and location where the transporter goes past the 100-air mile radius, the driver must maintain logs using an ELD, unless the driver or the vehicle meets one of the limited ELD exemptions.

60 hours has logs just like 70 hours.
IIRC. The only difference would be the 30 not needed for locals. I think I read that somewhere on here.
Everything else was already mentioned.G13Tomcat and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Wait. You're Canadian? So far what has been said is for US HOS, maybe @not4hire can answer for Canada HOS.
