Where can I find companies that haul Fuel/Gas locally around Charlotte, NC?

The only company name i can think of is Pope and they dont have a website.

I'm on the road months at a time so looking around while im home for 24 hours isnt much of an option.

    Thanks,

I still like w/s i'm just exploring other options. I'm not a fan of this ltd furniture and im not 100% sure I can do fb.

Being home everynight would be nice too.

I really like being out on the road but im 21 and would like to have some sort of life outside the truck. If not I can do the otr thing for 40+ years but if I can make more and be home i'll do it

If you hauled fuel around here, it seems those guys run during the night and are home during the day. Maybe that's just the in-city stops.

Its 24/7 where I live. My dad used to talk to allot of them when he was driving a dump truck and they only want 6 months OTR and pay pretty good.

Or my other options are local ltd which I can't even get a call back on

Or what I really want is to buy my own truck. But I'd need at least 6 more months OTR to get insurance and I only have $10,000 and that's not nearly enough to get started.

I don't know what I wanna do lol but ltl furniture ain't it

i'm trying! Conway and UPS freight have job listing in my city and the surrounding citys, so i applyed...no answer. I dont know what else to do, I tried Sia (sp) since they hire at 21 and start pay at $18.43/hr but i need 1 year, so i have to apply again in october.

I would love to go to Conway, Fedex, or UPS but i cant seem to get a foot in the door, although R+L carriers will take me in october haha if they have an opening that is.

ive heard almost all negative opinions of R&L honestly man....havent heard very good things about saia either...i dont know whats true and whats not of course, but i can tell you that the R&L here runs nothing but junk equipment

if you can get in at ups freight or conway, do it......just expect to work the dock alot and i dont know about conway, but at ups freight im still on call alot....im currently in the worst part of my career here so far, working 1 or 2 days a week, its pathetic, but in the long run i believe it will be worth it

so if you can get your foot in the door do it.....maybe your terminal will be run differently..

i just keep my eye on the price.....over 66 cents per mile in 2013 and $26.15 an hour
