Truck, well that depends on budget and preference. A mid roof should be good for flatbed but nothing higher than a t2000. There are or were some nice pre emission t2000s for sale on truckpaper for low prices. But as much as I liked my t2000, a w9 or 379 is better.

Don't forget t800. IMO same build quality as w9 just different style. One of my favorites but hard to find good used ones for otr. Almost all speced for local and heavy haul.

If you're planning to run Intermodal, you better have a #### good truck (atleast 2006+). D.O.T love pulling drivers and conducting a road side inspection with containers or at the scales.
