As long as it's not running Dollar Store accounts, what the heck; go for it. A year goes by quick, and you can move onward and upward. I'd do it, were I you.aramil248 Thanks this.

Thanks I also just talked with western express about northeast regional I do see them a lot going to and from Poland spring around hereG13Tomcat Thanks this.

You up to running flats? Nothing against it whatsoever... just a lot of learning with securement and all. Then again, you've already learned how to drive, so ya should be good there.
-
I will be doing vans. Flats do seem interesting to me but I don't feel like I'm that fit enough to do it.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
-
No one ever feels fit enough, LoL. I only do them in the off time (winters) myself, when my asphalt (tankers) aren't running.

what would be better to go with us express or western express?
-
Oh man.... you're going right back to 2 CRST type companies. This is like asking would you like to get kicked in the nuts once or twice. There was a lot of good advice given here by me and other drivers. Try harder. Put in some effort and don't take the easy way out. You're probably not gonna last 6 months with either of them. It's the same crap you ran away from!207nomad Thanks this.

I really think USX pays better for vans...... but it's been awhile since I've been there. I actually worked for them for a year myself in the early 2000's. If I were to go with Western, I'd do flats. They ARE a good starter company for f/b.
-
Disagree. CRST is teaming and many people can NOT handle it.
Does the O/P have enough experience / training to get with a BETTER outfit? Name a few, then. I've been driving for over 30 years....over 20 legal. I even did a stint with USX, and W/E is NOT a bad starter, FOR FLATS. As I've posted above.
Give him some suggestions, then!!
