there has been so many posts here i forgot them all
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
But I do agree with you G13. If he's looking at Larger NE Regional companies with minimal experience, the options are limited up there. Teaming aside, I was merely trying to save him some suffering. Honestly, read the reviews of both of those companies. A million pissed off people can't all be liars.

Yes, I did....and many won't bite because of the CRST thing... so.... next ???
Do you realize how many companies won't touch former CRST'ites because of their effed up contractual bs???? Pickings get slimmer. USX is not a bad starter considerin the sitch...and Western, I'd only use them for a flatbed starter, personally.
Unless he goes to local Craigs and finds something 1099... many companies won't bite atm.The Big T Thanks this. -
I did USX for a year; no complaints besides low pay....really. I know a couple guys ON HERE and elsewhere that may NOT immediately say they started with Western, but I'd ONLY go that route for flats, personally.... and I mean ONLY for flatbed, @aramil248. Forget Western for anything else, NE regional or not.
Heck, there's TransAm, that may bite.....cool truck, great amenities, not many miles. -
any idea if they would train me in flatbed if i wanted to do that?G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Western? ABSOLUTELY. That's pretty much their forte'. . . . I just tagged you in another thread, a guys that does boxes for them, can't make his delivery, can't relay, etc etc etc. It's not what they are good at. If you go Western, go flats. It's a bit to learn, but it's doable. Ask @Boattlebot .... he had a thread where he went from boxes to flats, and many a man coached him when he was unsure of his securement. Western actually has more comprehensive training, I do believe.Boattlebot Thanks this.
