Trans Am? Yes, they have some of the better loaded trucks out there; for sure. I know a girl used to drive for them, she's with Cal/Ark now. Actually, there's a long thread on here by a pal of mine, BrokeDown 69 (it's kinda older) but he started out there a few years back; look him up. Better yet, here's the link:
Trans Am as seen by Broke Down 69

He's now working for Morehouse Trucking, a smaller outfit. Bzinger has a thread on them, btw.

Another guy I know that isn't on here, works for CFI and loves it; I think they are pretty well set up also.

Between CFI and TransAm... something should come thru for ya. Check out that link!!

That’s weird since it shows they offer paid CDL training.

Oh.. that sucks. Kind of doesn’t make sense they would hire a newbie but not roadtest or atleast make someone spend a week with a trainer before releasing.

    Ah well.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Double YUP. Wil Trans (and the rest of their bunch, Jim Palmer and of course Prime) 'seem' to pay well, but are very quirky, in my experience talking to employees from 'all' three. I'd consider it a blessing in disguise, but that's just imho.

Leme know what you find with Trans Am and CFI. Read Broke Down's thread on T/A if you have time. It's long, but just read HIS posts, not those of the responders, LoL. He's got quite a following.

He's a really nice guy; young'ish too. I'm sure he'd be happy to answer any questions for ya, too. He even got into flatbedding. << not for the faint of heart; for sure.

Best wishes, man. It'll come together.

FreightlinerGuy and Vic Firth Thank this.
