I took some angle iron and sheet steel to the prison weld shop. They took my wallet, keys, and phone at the front gate and were going to take my winch bar too until I pointed out that I had to have it to take my straps off. The guard that accompanied the truck kept the bar unless I was actively using it. Funny thing was, the inmates that unloaded me were nicer than the staff that I dealt with during the security inspection to get in and out.
