The right local/regional job definitely pays more than OTR. I'm making twice as much as a regional driver for DHL on their discount tire account delivering to all discount tire stores in the southeast. Weekends off, pretty much home every other day and get paid to sleep in the truck. I do have to roll the tires out the back which alot of drivers dont want to do. But it's good exercise and great money. Good driving jobs are out there if you wanna to some work.
