That area of 78 is deteriorating quickly in both directions.

 

They can keep em. I still haven't worn the first pair that I had to pay $35 for. Not since orientation at least. All because my trusty Chippewas don't say "slip and oil resistant" on the sole. Just a big yellow diamond that says. Vibram... a company that only makes slip resistant soles for safety shoe and boot manufacturers. So for orientation I had to trade my steel toes in for a pair of unprotected toed half ### boot/sneakers because of a few missing words on the soles. Makes sense.

 

Mine are still sitting in the box...

Good ideas. On most of my routes, you don't have to look hard to find a homeless guy who could use a new pair of shoes.
