Just got home. The house is 42 degrees. 18 outside. The oil ran out in the middle of the night freezing the wife and kids out early this morning. I feel pretty bad about that. They were able to come drop an emergency 250 gal. I got her fired up again but its going to be hours before it is habitable for the kids at least. The washer took a dump this week. I can get the part I need but not until Monday anddd I'm leaving Monday morning at 5. Or at least I think I am. My bills and workflow have 2 very different times and I can't seem to get anyone to answer me about which is right. Do you want it delivered or not Schneider?

OK, tonight is at the motel 6. A friend of mine had other ideas for me last night lol.
Saw Logan in my favorite theater and will have an awesome dinner tonight, then said friend is kidnapping me again tomorrow for 'an adventure' so who knows lol.
Actually having a weekend like normal people do was very motivating to get my debt paid off and move on.PoleCrusher, Crusader66, 91B20H8 and 4 others Thank this. -
Well, my family isn't coming home tonight which really sucks. Things are going from bad to worse on the home front. It did give me a chance to slip into the shop though. Finally got to finish the piece that I've been neglecting for months. Well after some stain soaks it oughta be done but the nerve racking part is over at least.

Thanks. I'm a metal worker by trade. Or at least used to be before I got the crazy idea to go driving so the whole wood thing is still new to me but I enjoy learning by just messing around. At least with steel though, if you mess up its a quick cut, tack, and grind and you're all fixed. One wrong cut on the Oak and it's garbagio. Still fun thoughCrusader66 and 48Packard Thank this.

Awesome detail, having to concentrate on tedious work like that tends to make the other problems go away for a little while, very cool.
AM14 and 4mer trucker Thank this.
