At the world famous Chez Obetz Resort, found a nice tight spot right next to the intermodal chassis. Think i might go for a swim then sit in the hot tub for a while.

Flying J in Roping. No parking. Ran out of hours trying to help and be a no cell guy. Took an hour and a half to get a ^/$#@$ empty out of French camp. People parking TBO trailers anywhere. Hooked to one, finished the p plan and the DVIR comes back "maintenance" which means I'm not getting it out the door. Then I spend the next 45 minutes looking for trailers cleaning trailers then waiting for support shift to change my pre plan so I can hook up to the new trailer, so I can get out of the barn operating center. Garrett!

Home, for the last night before 2-wheeling outta here!!
Delivered with no problems this morning, followed the old man down to the Harley place in Lansing to drop off his old man bike for them to un-fubar the engine, pouring rain halfway there and most of the way back...he says the little scooter will be more fun, anyway - lighter & more maneuverable than the Road Glide. We'll see what he says after the 700 miles to the north end of the Blue Ridge Parkway!!

I have a 2000 Wide Glide. I keep hearing that I want a new bike, either a V-Rod or a bagger of some sort, but I don't. I love my bike. Also, it's paid for :) (He used to pick on me about my bike being slow because I don't ride like a teenager on a crotch-rocket, then he rode it once. He doesn't pick on me anymore.)

The Road Glide is in the shop for repairs. Last year, he smacked a deer or two with it. While it was in the shop for the winter, he had them do some engine stuff (cams, pistons, seals...performance upgrade type stuff) and there are issues with it. The inside of the back cylinder looks like a 9478375193804 mile diesel engine, the exhaust pipes are bluing, one of them shoots flames - all in all, not good. So, it's getting fixed. Oh - and it's a 2013, with about 15K on it. He also has (traded in on the FLTRU and bought back. Because Man, I guess.) a 2010 FXSTC, which is what he's taking on this trip.
