Mega! Holiday StationStore. Eau Claire, Wisconsin. After I parked and did a post trip I had 3 min left on my 70. Didn't plan it that tight but WalMart didn't have a road worthy empty so I had to go 40ish miles out of the way to get one. 515 miles to go tomorrow to a, according to the QC, 2 hour live unload. No onsite parking so hopefully the Pilot that the remarks say is there has spots left when I am done. Long day today and another one tomorrow. Time for bed.

 

Which customer are you heading to? Half the time the "truck stop down the street" in the remarks has three spots. We might be able to point you to some hideyholes if necessary.

if you have a smart phone, download "Trucker path" its an app that shows a google-like map with truckstops, rest areas, Wal-Mart's shown on it. Its invaluable in trip planning

 

I love the Trucker Path app. Use it ALL the time! Especially like the option to switch between satellite & map view, so I can see if I want to even attempt stopping.

 

It's been sixteen years now since I left Michigan and I still miss the place. Hell, I even miss living in Detroit.
