Its same yard hasn't moved

 

Boise, ID Still home. Took truck to Cummins today. Results, is Injector #5 out, DoC Plugged, Valves out of adjustment, Cam misalinement.

LOL needless to say.. I was like UM! I sware this motor needs more work then any engine I have EVER owned.

 

Bummer! How many miles on it?

 

431,681, Inframe done 21,000 miles ago. Both cams replaced 79k Ago, Turbo replaced 27k Ago, DPF and Dozer injector replaced 12k ago.

This truck makes me cringe sometimes. This just must of not been that great of a year for this motor. =\

 

Gah! Sometimes you just get a sickly truck. My last Company ran 30 T800's, all had the same specs except for two beater trucks. We had 3 that just could not make it two weeks without going into the shop for something and it didnt matter who drove them. Our mechanics wanted to leave them parked out in the street with the keys in them, so they'd disappear, but the darn things probably would break down a block away.

 

This truck was just to abused over its life. To many drivers doing to many bad things to it. Now its just broken and wore out.

I'm talking about the other yard. Have no idea when we got out of there, but it's been a couple years since I've been there. It used to be on the east end of I675 on that narrow road. Think it was a wrecker yard or some kind of service shop.

 

The yard on the Hill wasn't the Yard for SNI 4 Years ago. The other yard used to be off 75 north the 1st exit past 640 now the yard is off the 1st exit on 640 coming from the west or the last exit coming from the east.

 

I really like that yard as its quiet and peaceful. Just wish they'd put a Porta potty out there. Beautiful morning and evening views. Bet that it is an sob with snow on the gtound
