I70 exit 90 rest area in Rifle, CO. Got to see a major case of smoking breaks today EB truck near Silverthorn, CO. About as much smoke pouring out of the trailer brake drums as possible without them being on fire, although it looked like they were about to go up in flames any second.

 

Old Pilot they tried to make Look new. X18 Troy IL. I-55. Watching the spectral of everyone backing in.

 

Rest area on US23 in Missed-again. Headed closer to Detroit than I ever wanted to go in a few hours...

I was at the Burns Harbor Peelot earlier, too..but it was much earlier, well before you got there, I'm sure.

WOW! That is insane. I can't believe the planners couldn't find someone closer to go pick it up.

I saw a couple bobtails running down I80 the other day in Iowa near Iowa City area so they possibly could have a trailer shortage in that area and have too many trailers in the KC area.
