My advice is buy 1 of each size go home see what fits and then next week buy the rest. Then remind him ever so nicely that size does matter so they won't fall off.

    Lol TennMan!

Seriously, I thought about that, but I will have to order them & have them shipped to my daughter's, so won't see them until Christmas anyway. I've only seen our truck sizes in the truck stops I visit now.

You know this kind of a touchy subject, I want to help you out but I'm not sure what helping you out means - on one hand it's helping you get the right size spiky lug nut covers for your Dodge, but then on the other hand it IS HELPING YOU GET THE RIGHT SIZE SPIKY LUG NUT COVERS FOR YOUR DODGE.

Seriously though, I looked ALL over some different Dodge forums and the most common size I saw mentioned was 15/16. Not too much information on it. I just went out and checked my '96 and they are 15/16. I know (almost) for sure that the 3rd gens were 15/16, but I'm not positive on the 4th gen Rams like yours. While you're at truck stops look for the hotshot haulers with the Dodges - most of them take all the covers off their wheels since they blow tires out every 15 miles grossing 40k on cheap chinese tires and I'm sure they know out of memory what size lug wrench they need and could tell you what size you'd need. Just don't tell them it's for spiky lugnut covers LOL.

See, I *KNEW* you could help me! It never occured to me to ask the guys I see in the truck stops...I did think about trying to catch one of the RV haulers at a rest area, though. Wish I'd seen this earlier, when I was actually at a truck stop...

I personally think the spiky lug nut covers are ridiculous, but he thought they were cool (there is no accounting for taste...he did marry me, after all). A set of 16 from iowa80.com, if they are indeed the 15/16, would be less than $20, so wouldn't be a great loss if he didn't actually put them on the truck. This is his truck, though; mine is the 87 1/2 ton 2wd Ram. Here is, hopefully, the linky thing to the spiky things:

If his is way more endowed then the 15/16's you could always regift them to an average white guy like DFO :biggrin_25523: I guess size really does matter to ya mickimause :biggrin_25525:
