I am going to have to stop reading these posts to the Old Man while he's driving...he's laughing so hard at some of them that I fear for my safety!

Just a tip, you may know already.
When searching the board there, always look back a month or two when selecting the dates. Some of that crap has been sitting there for a couple months before actually becoming available and just gets lost in the system somehow. I've grabbed old loads like that a few times that they just updated the delivery date for once I called. -
Soo Schneider and customers forget freight they have?

Forget, maybe.
The problem is, the failure to update that first date.
Say a load is ready to go today (5/17). Typically, the default on our load board search goes back about 1 week, so doing a search for loads today you would see loads from 5/10 through 5/17.
The problem with those Laredo loads, and maybe other places as well, is a load may have initially be available on 4/10, but then never picked up, or possibly rescheduled.
If you don't change that first date in your search, that load that was initially available on 4/10 won't show up in your results because unless you changed that first date, nothing shows up with an earlier first available date earlier than 5/10. A guy who runs Texas all the time pointed this out out to me one of the first few times I went to Laredo.
