At the shipper where the load was supposed to be picked up today.. But when ops refuses to either read or acknowledge ETA's stating I wouldn't be able to make on time then tell me that they need ETA's... Someone in the morning is getting an earful today....load was supposed to be picked up by 3 but I let them know this morning I got held up in Oklahoma because 2big trucks crossed the median and hit each other....

I've told by the icr this morning that they do not look at the ETA is the driver send it at all... Only time they look at it is at the computer screen alerts on to it..... My question is why the hell even bother sending in a #### it yeah when they don't even care to even look at them... Like this p and she loved that I'm on now it'll be an hour late because they would listen since yesterday afternoon that this load needed to go so they wanted to play her games this morning as well so I decided screw it I'll just play along I'm going to run the load make my money and I can care less if it's late they sure don't seem to care

Same as IC having to set a NAT, doesn't matter what freight they acquire because I show available if I don't like it I don't take it and if my NAT expires it just means I'm still available.

These are the BS company driver policies I hate.

There isn't a logical one however SNI will argue the load planners need to know how many trucks in a given area need freight.

My argument every time is it doesn't matter if I'm the only truck in an area and the load planner finds 100 loads if they arent loads I want to pull I DONT.

Therefore if I'm not assigned a load and my NAT is expired then I'm still available.

It's truly just a control thing, and I believe tied to ICA'S bonus structure same as truck utilization and on time etc.....
