home til monday afternoon.

 

Still home, but took my truck to get the A/C fixed today. Combination of a little low on freon and the stupid water valve going to the heater core not closing. Good news is, I have an extra valve already in my possession. However, just shutting off the water to the heater core manually for now and recharging the freon has me ready to go again... when I feel like it.

 

Sikeston mo at the loves.

Overweight on tandems, can't make legal so need to go to shipper for rework...In the morning, since the shipper closed at 1600.

Alorton J. Had been planning on Edwardsville where my relay is but ended up being 10 minutes short. Which may make me 20 minutes short of making it home tomorrow and it's all my fault.

Bobtailing up from Jackson MO I remarked to my trainee he'd had a good week, saw almost everything. Then I joked "all we need now is for you to be inspected tomorrow and you'll have done everything". Guess what happened less than 15 minutes later? A really nice diesel bear came looking for honey. Only took 35 minutes and I got a clean inspection sticker but would much rather have made the OC.

14 was the problem. If it were 8 or 70 I'd make Jill sing to my tune, but even showing no pti in the morning I would still have been short.
