Alan Loftis owns Loftis trucking out of Sumner Wa. They lease on with Roadrunner transportation. He required me to go from Sumner Wa to Dallas Tx in 3 days, 2100, which we all know is not legally possible. When I quit he told me I had caused a flat tire, and that he would hold back my last check. So I worked for him for a week for free. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS MAN

^ You need a 64mph average speed to make that run, not legally possible like OP said

hey partner, I drove for this idiot for 18 days. he owes me 2100.00. he is bad news, get in touch with me and we can team up to go after him. we are not the only ones this guys jerked around. he is a dead beat owner operator. he wanted me to run illegal to Hamilton, oh to sumner,wa and back in 5 days. I found a lawyer who represents truck drivers. also what roadrunner doesn't know is they can be held liable for paying us too. even though we were contract driver for allen, law states rrts is joint employer being we went thru their orientation and work for them too. allen is a bad apple, and I want to bring him down. I have a few things im going to do to him. all I can say is he needs to be made to be held accountable for his illegal practices. his wife is just as bad. I was standing their on a Monday when they were doing payroll, and a driver quit and allen said to send him a dollar to mess with him. him and his wife are white trash in my opinion. all I know is they messed with the wrong driver. I have 27 yrs. exp. and have been hear before with other dead beats like him....you can reach me at [email protected] my name is mike....get ahold of me......thanks

    jfenton1515 Thanks this.

Hello jfenton1515, my partner and I worked for Loftis for a month and a half on the Charlotte to Seattle run. He wanted us to make that run in 48 hours. He would call and bug us and say that we weren't moving fast enough. He didn't want us to park in truckstops. The truck is still in Charlotte and he said he couldn't pay us until he gets the truck in his hands. HE IS DEFINITELY A CROOK! He owes us a total of $5400 between the two of us!

2795 miles from Seattle to Charlotte, 48 hours would be a 58 mph average. A 63 mph average would get you there in 44the hours. I'd be telling a team they shouldn't be parking in truck stops overnight too. As for with holding money until he got his equipment back, I seriously don't see how you have 20 years in this industry and abandon someones equipment 2795 miles from the home terminal and then ##### he won't pay you until he gets it back.

The problem with the average speed is great but, we all know that there is no way to average that speed. Dealing with states that have speed limits of 55 mph for one. And those who have run out west, there are mountains. The trucks that he has are governed at 68mph, so you can't make it up by running 75-80 in states you can run that speed. I was not running as a team when I did 2134 miles in 3 days. If I could have done things differently I would have, but as they say hind sight is 20/20. I have started reporting his activities to the DOT in the states I ran in.
