I have been asked to deliver some equipment from Boston to SC with a Ryder 20' box truck. It will only weigh about 2000#. My question is its our equipment but its over the 150 mile trip limit. Is a log the only thing I need to worry about?
Log book or not??

Over 10,000 lbs GVW across state lines means logbook, medical card, DOT #, etc.
See if you can move it with a 3/4 ton pickup. -
What about all these guys running a fully loaded 26 foot Uhaul across country? I can guarantee they don’t run any logs. I’d roll with it.
Speedy356 Thanks this. -
Uhaul isn’t a commercial vehicle if the renter is hauling their own belongings.

Ryder is a rental vehicle. Not hauling freight for pay. 20 FT truck, lightly loaded. Go for it !
