You need to log it as you do it. I would bring that to the attention of whomever is time stamping those. Those are used, especially in compliance reviews. Just did one yesterday that fuel receipts were used to show false log book entries. These were multiple fuel locations over many States.
-
If drivers used fuel cards wouldn't the carrier have a record of an accurate transaction time ? Our drivers never bother getting fuel receipts . It's just fuel and go .
Could a driver have a customer scalemaster write and initial the correct time ? -
I guess im going to have to make a big stink about it next time i catch it....if they dont or cant change it i guess ill have to lie on my logs to make it match the wrong time?
-
Fuel cards should give an accurate time.
-
Lie to match that and you'll be caught not matching something else .dieselbear Thanks this.
-
nevermind...
-
note on the time stamped item that it is the incorrect time.
-
Do what the man says, when you bring it to their attention what I would suggest is writing on the correct time and have an employee sign off on it with you. Might not make a difference, but it couldn't hurt.

Should give an accurate time is about right. We have several days worth where all the fueling for the entire company are wrong. We're in the process of correcting these issues with the help of Comdata and Pilot. I would think that in a compliance review we'd still be alright because we'll see the same driver fueling in NM and NY in a 5 minute time span and the GPS positioning shows them in GA. We also have documentation from Comdata that there has been an error and they're in the process of trying to correct it.
