Yes if you are part-time, full-time you must follow the DOT regulation and your boss asking/allowing you to run illegal you and him are both responsible. Sorry but that's the honest answer
What you do is your perogitave though I just state what can happen if you run illegal because many drivers out there are not aware of the consequences of them running illegal can happen to them. That's why I am here to tell them and HOPE they do the right thing.
