Log question

    Well, the way I've always done it was, during a 15 minute block, if I perform activities that would require logging more than 1 line I would go to the line of the activity that took the greater amount of time and simply include the other as a flag. For instance, stop to do a load check and quick bathroom break. Load check takes 5 minutes, bathroom takes 10 minutes. I'd log that as line 1 but also include the 5 minute load check in the comments. Which, to my understanding of the regs is the way the gooberment wants it done. I've heard the 8/7 thing as well but never seen the reg that states it but I think it's from drivers taking the interpretation you posted and applying it to situations like the one I mentioned. Over time that kind of became accepted practice I guess and the 8/7 interpretation kind of was born? *shrug*
