So, I come out of the Pilot to find another empty TMC truck sitting right beside me. I think cool, Im getting repowered. I check the qualcomm for a message. Nope, no message. I check my cell phone, nope no missed calls. I look up, hes eating a hot dog. He then puts it in gear, and is gone. Poof, gone. Well, guess he wasnt my repower. He coulda climbed outta his truck and at least say howdy. Freakin truck drivers. Lol

blind you are always good for a laugh! I always try to wave or make contact with another TMC driver. Never know when it will be you haha! I was told all week that my truck is still in Buffalo. I have been running around all week to get this crap done to get back to it. we did talk for a few minutes about the trailer I got stuck with at the Home Depot DC. The tag was ripped off and a piece of card board was in it's place with the tag written in Sharpie lol. Also the right side box was damaged. Not sure if HD did it or not but called safety and macro'd it before I left that day for Buffalo. Heard this past week was DOT inspection week. I would of been reamed with that stuff wrong.

Hope the weekend gets better for you brother.

Yup. D.O.T. week. Can you believe were asking for a level inspection?? Ok, what if the man finds something wrong? You do know that would be held against you?!? I understand the company wants alot of clean inspections to help lower the csa score. Jeff, Im not sure but I think the dot man would given you a ti ket for the cardboard tag? Also, for what its worth, Im real glad your.getting your truck back. I know that this one is mine!!

Having been a Police Officer I know for a fact I would of been hit for the tag. The trailer was preloaded and tarped. When I got to the DC everyone was gone. I called safety and was then told to make the delivery. I am just glad it was during the night that I drove. Anyway, have a good night and try to have a good weekend. You get bored you know how to reach me. You can listen to me rant about making no money for 2 weeks and feel a lot better about yourself lol. :biggrin_25521:

Agree with everything you said Blind. I'm hoping it's a "paying dues" thing and will change soon too. Like you said mix in a good one once in a while though. I like the company and I'll stick it out hoping things will get better. Spending my weekend driving up to the east coast. My choice to run though cause I know I made no money last week! And Jeff....we do have the same FM!

used to be if u were to pull in to a scale & ask for a full inspection, the dot officer would actually inspect u along with truck & trailer. if anything was found he generally WOULDN'T put it on the inspection but verbally tell u to get it fixed asap, depending on what it was. i did that in georgia 18 yrs ago & he found a brake that was out of adjustment is all. i crawled underneath trailer & adjusted it myself. no way in hell can a driver do that today & get that kind of inspection. hell i bet 90 out of 100 drivers today couldn't adjust a brake on a truck or trailer if their life depended on it, let alone do a thorough inspection.
