I agree Blind.....I would have a heart to heart with the FM. Change and see where that gets you. I am on another 2 stop load. First stop Chesnee, SC and then down to Columbia. This load is taking me through the house but I got held up big time in PA. I hate Pittsburgh. This shipper was a joke really. Crazy loads going out of there today. I have steel beams along with angle iron. They placed the iron in between the beams. Two stops and I was not about to tarp the whole load then untarp the whole load in Chesnee and retarp to go to Columbia. I have this ugly tarped triangle in the middle of my trailer. There is no way to run the bungees to secure it better. So load covered and then straps and chains thrown across it all. Did I mention I hate PA? I am down for the night in Beckley, WV. I will finish up driving home tomorrow.

Thanks guys for your thoughts. Allow me to throw an update at yall. Im down for 10 in a rest area just north of harrisburg pa. This load I have, after I made a stink on the quall, Im doing a trailer/ load swap with a driver in Fayetville NC. According to the map, Im 450 miles away from fayetville. I dont care how you slice that, thats 9 hours of driving. Figure at least one hr for the swap. Thats 10 . My home area is approx 41/2 hrs from there. So, at best I will get home sunday afternoon. Im telling you now, I will sleep 2 nights in my bed!! And, my fm dont know it yet but hes gonna have a bad monday morning. Im gonna call my fm's boss on monday morning. Somethings gonna change, one way or another!

Hey Jeff, you said they mixed the steel, how are they off loading it at the stops? Do you have to unsecure the whole load? And as for big triangle tarp, you better hope I dont see it! Its my job to give people grief over ugly tarps. Lol!!!
I mean really, were not driving for frickin western express ya know.
Cmon, throw me a frickin bone.( spoken in a Dr. Evil/ Austin Powers voice) I dont know where that came from.

I have 10 steel beams. 5 on both sides of the trailer with the angle iron in the middle of it. The first stop is taking off the beams. It is horrible. I have told my lady several times I am embarrassed by the load. I had no choice but to do it like I did. I am just fortunate that on a weekend where a lot of people stayed out, I got a load home and made it home this morning. Blind why don't you switch that TQM class to July also. Figure if you can switch FM you could have a couple of weeks of getting home. Just a thought bud! BTW I take crap and give it just as well too. I have talked smack about this load to anyone willing to listen! LOL!

Cmon!!! Drive for frickin western express!! I bust on them because in my opinion they are about the most unprofessional flatbedders out there. And, I think Dr Evil is cool!!
Ok update time. Im down for my 10 in a mom and pop truck stop off I95 in Fayettnam. It actually took me all day to get here. I'll still have about 5 hours to drive tomorrow just to get home. As I stated before, Im gonna have home time. I shoulda went home thursday when I was in NC. But I was trying to make some more money. Oh well, I wont make that mistake again. Ive also had time to ponder the mysteries of my fm. I am gonna fire hom on monday, for sure. I dont trust him and I really think he does this stuff on purpose. I told my wife that Ive got an empty trailer, and when I get dispatched with my next load, it wont be from him. I'll be sure to keep you posted on how that all goes down. This will sound crazy, but...... I cant wait to get home so I can hit a certain mexican restaurant and have an ice cold Corona to wash it down. Yeah dog!!!

Cut me a little slack please......It's not like I sat the last two weeks at home or anything lol.

So I have a question now I hope someone can help me with. So the two 12v plugs I use have blown a fuse. It's the one on the top of the dash and down by the ash tray. Can anyone tell me where the fuse is located on these Petes so I can change them? Thanks in advance

The fuses are by your left foot right by your clutch. I've had to change mine a few times.

just make sure you have the right fuse and do not put in a oversize fuse, unless you like fire's
