well it looks like I will be joining the Keim ts team. I have enjoyed the post, and if it is all the same I will continue to be apart of this thread. I like what all of you have had to say, and I have followed it from the beginning so I will stay if its okay.

Allllrighty then. Its update time. Ive come to realise that everytime I try to push past something, theres more something to push through.
Anyhow, I was scheduled for tqm on saturday. I didnt roll into the terminal til around 1945
I had like 2 minutes left on my 14. Anyhow, I HAD to go to yard because trailer needed serviced. They finally get done monday around 1500. As I go to hook up, I find my tractor fuel tank is leaking fuel. So I inform the shop and I am immediately put out of service. So they replace my tank. I get my truck this morning around 0900. Grab my load and head to Nebraska to deliver my suicide coil. I tell my fm to start working me south. He says first do this "quick" load to south Dakota. Uh dude, thats even further away from home. So I says ok, I will help you out. Now the good part to the story.... its a trailer swap at griffin pipe. Really?? A trailer swap?? I sat at terminal all weekend for trailer service, now I gotta kiss it goodbye. So do the trailer swap. Guess what...... the marker lights keep going out on trailer. Something shorted in trailer. So now Im down for 10 at shipper, then short day light trip to sapps truck stop. Then Im out of service until lights get fixed. Dont forget, tomorrow is Wednesday and I will be headed to south dakota. Whatcha wanna bet I wont make it home again?!?! -

No way. Knowing my luck Id be headed to Seattle if I told him that. A big reason I came to TMC was the "guaranteed" home time. They say home 46 out of 52 weekends. Well, I should be home every single weekend for the rest of the year then. Also for what its worth, I havent seen home on a friday since I started here. If you remember at the very beginning of this thread I stated that I would tell the truth about my experience here, thats what Im doing.
DevilDog79 Thanks this. -
Where did you go in nebraska? I live in omaha. Your honesty has been much appriciated..

When I spent the weekend having my trailer serviced I did a swap within a few hours of pulling out too. I guess that's part of it, but I was thinking really?? too. At terminal since yesterday for some work on tractor and trailer that I badly needed. Things are getting better slowly and/or I'm getting used to them lol. Hope your hometime gets better soon Blind. It's a big deal for me too but my FM has been good about getting me there.
