Yep I got a call from TMC asking me to come back and they said they changed the pay structure around and also have a $1000 sign on bonus now, although I think thats for experienced drivers, not sure. Along with a fleet of new trucks coming soon.

It was very tempting as I do miss the road, flat bedding and those TMC trucks. But being that my wife just got here 6 months ago (hate to leave her every week) and I just got a decent local job that may turn into something really great, I decided to stay put. But yes it is tempting as its in my blood, lol. If I ever do come back TMC would be at the top of my list. Heck I still hang around here.

Alrighty, once again Im in a rental car headed to the Indy terminal to get my truck. I passed test out with a 97. Im cool with that. Easy road test and a 45 angle back. Too easy. Ok, yes, starting pay is 26%!!! I know at least till your first snap shot.
Its 11pm, headed to Indy. I have my very own black and shiney waiting on me. When I arrive, Im supposed to see somebody in the shop to get the keys to my truck. I'll be sleeping in my own tonight. I also got the same FM that my trainer has. Im real cool with that too! So tomorrow, I inspect my ride, do a road test, inventory and secure my securement devices, then send my empty macro to get my 1st load. Guys be safe. Let the dummies have the left lane.

Ok then. Im laying in my bunk. Still sitting in the Indy yard. Have a minor maint. issue that they will address in the morning. So hopefully I'll be logging on line 3 tomorrow. Theres alot of work to be assigned a truck. All of us guys wodked hard today. I just got done eating my only meal for the day. Good hot showers at the terminal. Why go to the "J" when everything you need is right here? Anyhow, the service dept took good care of me with my picky items. All is well.

Alrighty then. Another day another dollar. Received and delivered my first load. Suicide coil. 46,100 lbs worth. Drove it straight to the consignee and got it off my deck. Sent in my "empty" macro and BAM!!!! Theres my bonus!!! Yeah buddy. Ive already got another load waiting for me. Picks up in Kentucky and delivers in Tn. Truck runs great. No complaints. It was worth everything Ive been through.

Screeching halt!! Got loaded a light full load of insulation. Doesnt deliver until tomorrow. I was told if I make it to the consignee by 5:00, they would unload me. I arrived at 4:30, only to fine 4 trucks ahead of me, and they're not doing anymore unloading tonight. Well... I guess Im dry camping tonight. I went easy today, plenty of time to get here. I wish I would have stopped at the last "J" in Nashville. Oh well
