Really? Did you not read where I said "sneak across the border?" I was trying to be funny. That meant go across the state line, as in I will go home to North Carolina.
    What exactly where you implying?

Question...use to be on this site everyday. Went to truck driving school last October thru December and received my CDL. Debated about heading to del moines after the 1st of the year but decided to continue work with a local flat bed company I been with over 5 years. Well 6 months in I really kicking myself for not going with TMC. Pay here sucks now being a class a driver, use to drive a straight truck for many years but since I don't have a full year under my belt (class a) its hard getting a good paying local job. Since I have been hauling for 6 months driving a flat bed tractor trailer hauling steel, plastic pipe and wrap pallets do I still have to out in the 2 months of training? Been searching for how much drivers are paid during training but couldn't find it, can someone explain training pay. Thanks

What's up Blind Dog...okay think I still have the biz card of the recruiter that came to my driving school. Yea man I love flat bedding and always pass a tmc truck on 64 going to the va beach and I just love looking at them. I just want to be paid accordingly driving a flat bed.

No, Blind Dog's still around. Im actually at home. Got here yesterday in time for dinner. We went to eat mexican, and yes it was good. I swear I could eat mexican everyday. I miss not eating it. There was a time I would eat it 2-3 times a week.
I have to go out Friday to pickup a load, somewhere close, that is supposed to deliver somewhere close on Monday. Im gonna try to enjoy my home time as much as I can. It'll be time to go before Im ready, Im sure. Be safe guys.
