Do you guys haul equipment out, then normal flatbed cargo on the way back to Iowa?

Yeah unless we are only a couple hundred miles out on a short run, then sometimes we just deadhead or bounce back. I saw a couple of your guys up there in Dubuque a couple Fridays ago. Had to get a skidsteer.

Chances are if you are loading in Dubuque you will see one of my trucks. I think we probably have a truck loading out there most of every day. The window of my office overlooks 151/61. I saw a TMC go by the other day pulling an RGN with a green tractor and a skid steer. Wondered if you might be in town. Obviously not since you said no RGNs yet.

I have been seeing more TMC trucks in Waterloo, Dubuque, and Davenport. Seems like they had moved away from these locations since the recession. I don't think you were there yet, but it seemed like they really pulled things in to survive when things got slow. They must be starting to expand again.

I actually did have a step on with a tractor I had just picked up over in waterloo. This was Friday the 28th I was there. I like loading out of there. Fast and simple to secure. I know we pulled a lot out of there last the end of that week and all this past week because Ankeny JD plant was shut down for the week and that is where we get most of our loads out of.

I left the Police department after 13 yrs of service. Peace of mind will come but you have to make it through that adjustment period. That has been the biggest issue for me. Good luck friend!

Alrighty-roo. It was good to have some home time. I needed it worse than I thought. I left today with a load of rolled rubberized roofing, heading to plainfield Indiana. I drove 420 miles, 8ish hours, and now Im down for 10 in a rest area south of Indy. I ran into a guy I went through orientation with. Sat right beside him actually. It was good seeing "P-Funk" and I hope things are going well for you. When I saw him, it was like seeing an old friend, or something.
Its a little warm tonight, but Im gonna try to sleep with the windows open and the engine off. I gotta get me some window screens. Anybody know where I can get them? I havent seen any at the pilot/flying j. I think the only place Ive ever seen them was at the Iowa 80.

ok maybe crazy question...i see on the website last night when i was filling out an app and notice rookies starting off at 26%, experience is 27%. Can someone enlighten me on how much the loads are you guys are hauling like monday thru friday...Are you experience the same paying loads each week or its an up and down figure?
