Five day orientation done on my way home cant wait to get the two week training driving done to get my truck
I chuckled at Frostproof also! I think things are starting to click for me. It will work for me for a little while but when I can I will move to something different. Honestly I am OCD in some things and dirty is not my favorite thing to be. Tough for me in this 100 degree weather. Do not want to open that shower can of worms again! Will be better if it ever cools down. When my lady is able to come out with me on a full time basis then I will make a change.
Alright then, but only cause you asked. I got sent up to Jackson, Mi to load at Gerdau Macsteel. I arrived at 1000 cst. My load appt was at 1800 local. So, crapballs. So I figure I will start my ten hr break, and drive all night long. Nope. This steel plant gets me loaded EARLY! ! Like at 1500 local. So I load, secure, tarp in the awful heat. Id have to sit approx 4 1/2 hrs to complete my ten So, I head on. Now Im sitting at a Pilot. Gonna shower and eat hot microwave type food. I wont get home til around late afternoon/evening. Then have to leave out Sunday to head to consignee in Selma, NC. I do not consider this a "weekend at home." I wont even be home long enough to get a reset. Im not happy at all. Same frickin story, different week. I dunno. I guess my team leader will get an ear full on Monday morn. Eventually, I will reach my breaking point and quit. Dont know when that is. And yes, my wife is NOT happy, again!!!!!!!
Ya know, when I started this thread I never thought all Id be doing on it was griping. Thats not my nature to complain or be negative.
