Its fine. Im just messing with you too. The home time think sux!!! Its gonna get fixed today, or Blind Dog is gonna empty out the truck today! I dont wanna quit. But, its not fair to put my wife through what shes been going through. She has everything on her shoulders, because Im never there to help with anything. Yesterday, I got 6 hours of home time. I took my wife to the Cracker Barrel for breakfast, did laundry, took a shower, restocked groceries on the truck, and eased out on the clutch and headed east. Thats NOT what TMC told me I would have for home time. Not 1 timee EVER have I been asked if I wanted to stay out. My fm just leaves me out. Ive spoken to hime 4 times about this. Ive spoken to his boss 3 times about this. Today, I speak to the operations manager. Its either fixed or I leave, today!! Ive xone everything TMC has asked me to do, but they arent doing what they said they would do!

Well, update time. I ran my truck all last night, due to the heat and humidity. I shut it off this morn to go do personal hygiene. Came back out to do my pti, the stinkin a/c blower fan wouldnt come on. Im like "really?" Youve only run all night. So I send in a break down macro and get sent to the nearest Pilot for repair. While I was there I had a professional heart to heart with the operations mgr pertaining to the lack of home time. They finished my truck and I head to the consignee. Get unloaded in no time. Then bounce down to south carolina to get a load of particle board to take to Georgia. I ran out of hours and had to shut down for 10 at the shipper. So I cleaned up with baby wipes, snacked alittle, and went to bed. I should be able to make delivery with no problem. Keep in mind though that Im running recap and onlu have limited hours to work.
Thanks for all of your posts Dog! If you were to take away the lack of home time how would you eval your experience to this point? The reason I ask is that home time isn't important to me at this point in my life. I just want to get the experience and bring it home in a year or two as there is a lot of work around my home town as soon as I get some miles under me. Thanks again and good luck!
Take away the home time issue, and I would strongly recommend this company. Let me make it clear, Im not unhappy with TMC. Im just very unhappy about never being home. Everything else, I can deal with.
