Logging off duty while loading/unloading

    Exactly. I'm tired, but I get up in 6 hours. According to that guy, I should have burned my hours and then had to wait to go in the morning.

    Sounded more to me like he expects his company to try to make him drive if his ELD shows that he has hours available.

    I won't drive tired. All logging 20 hours on duty not driving in that scenario will do is keep me from driving later in the week when I am not tired.

    I read where he was worried about them noticing the scale time stamps at the shipper. Never give them anything except the bill of laden. And maybe the MSDS.

    That only proves when the trailer was loaded, not that you were hooked to it at that time.
