ah, i see. i've only seen bunk loggers around here.
unloaded gives way to loaded ... check.
stay away from edges .... check.
slinging the straps does worry me a bit. if they're too heavy for me to throw over, i might have to get some light rope to throw over and drag the straps over with. won't know til i try. -
ugh! false alarm. the guy misread my resume (or didn't read it at all) and somehow assumed i had semi experience. told me to come back when i got some experience. same old story

Aww, sorry to hear the job fell thru, but it might be a blessing in disguise.
Log trucking does take a special skill set, and typically the drivers are either fairly experienced to start with,, or they grew up in a logging family and started that way.
