Complete double standards generally. Except for South Africa a foreigner will not last more than a couple of days working illegally in any Sub Saharan African country without being arrested or set upon by the locals (even if legal). If you are white or Asian you are safer from the mob justice thing because it seems the locals are less threatened. Most of my drivers in SA are foreign Africans. Reason being we mainly transport cross border and South African drivers are given a very rough time in some African Countries. Easier to employ foreigners we are treated better. These drivers live in SA , their families are usually here their children go to school here etc. So it's understandable that local drivers out of work would resent this. Problem is that if we send SA drivers to some of those countries they are harassed and in danger. Double standards totally.
