I heard that. I was real impressed with a roel or create trainer 1 day. Can't remember, but it was 1 of the 2. I was doing a restart. I was sitting behind the wheel, dusting my dash and cleaning the glass. A truck pulled up next to me and stopped prior to blocking me in. Guy walks up and asks me if I am getting ready to pull out. I told him no. He said he has a student and he is going to work him. (was nice to ask me)

I watched him make the student get out and eyeball the set up. He made the student hit about every empty spot in the truck stop. Each one he got out and they talked it over. Now there is a trainer. I wish I would have called in on the trainer and said you got a class act trainer there.

I would hardly call myself sensitive considering that I am a 13 year Marine and 4 time Iraq Vet. I didn't go to Iraq to pump gas or drive a truck as I am a ground pounder and have fought in some of the bloodiest battles since Vietnam. I just expected a higher level of professionalism from such a senior member of this board. Remember, there are many here who are trying to glean knowledge and information from these threads. Here is a thought though, wittiness and gym room banter can be lost in translation when one is reading it from the other side of a computer screen.

i remember when i was in denver at a truck stop there, 2 england drivers pull in, parking was tight but wasnt bad. they both take a long time backing into the spot one driver did it blind side which was kinda what you had to do depending on what side you parked on. unless there were enough empty spots to turn around. One of the drivers almost hit me as he had a perfect line and everything, just he was heading for my spot. I have trouble backing up but thats one thing my trainer was able to work with me on.

Well; I admire your service. I am a vet myself, but call it what you did, look at the post again; you did overact. You did act sensitive in the matter. I was not laughing at you. READ THE POST AGAIN.

And you clarified that you were not laughing at me in the first sentence of your following post. If you would have left it at that all would be fine, instead, you followed up that sentence with with a couple of jabs about me being too sensitive, that I should rethink my career choice and I should stay off of the radio. These are words that are meant to goad one into a confrontation.

Like I said before, "wittiness and gym room banter can be lost in translation when one is reading it from the other side of a computer screen".

And who quoted who as being laughed at? I stated if your are this sensitive you might re-think trucking and not to turn on your CB. Those are not jabs. That is true to life trucking. You come back with me being a senior member and I should be more professional. I am not a paid role model on here. I post info to help people and I have a good time with my friends. I am not on here trying to win a badge of honor. I cut up and tell the truth as it is. You and I have 2 different views on how I should be on here, but funny how I should change for you and you should not change on how truckers are treated out here.

You came back with the Marine background. It has nothing to do with this posts. I was laughing on how recruiters are like politicians and will tell you anything to put you in a seat and it offended you. You want to glean information on here or so you say. Everything I have told you on here is trucking information. Again I appreciate your service and admire all of our military service. I have always supported our troops on any thread on here that someone was putting down our uniforms. So don't turn this into something that it's not.

Man, you really don't know how to let it go...

You already said that you meant it in a different context and I let it go. I even went so far as to twice say that the translation could have been lost when one is reading it through different eyes. Yet you persist with your taunts and then wonder why I retort. As far as my military career goes it was an example of the person that I am just as you being a trucker is an example of who you are. If you are questing my character then I being a Marine has everything to do with it.

So, we can keep going back and forth and this thread can continue degrade into a pissing match between the two of us or you can let it go. It's up to you.

For one, I did let it go and I've stated that numerous times. You are the one that keeps bringing back up the laughing comment.

Two, if you review your posts on this thread the last half of each of your posts ends with some sort of jab. It is apparent that you are an antagonist. Even with this last post you chose to provoke me instead of letting things settle down. "Suck it up", you're not even using it in the correct context.
