Has anyone had any experience with getting a new truck from Lone Mountain Leasing. I'm looking at a new 2016 Freightliner Cascadia. The terms seem to be $8500 down and 2700/month for 60 months. Their website says lots in stock but when you actually talk to them, the guy says I have 2 freightliners total, in stock and neither are new. Their Facebook page also leads me to believe that you basically have to reserve one first, then wait for delivery. So just curious if anyone has gotten a new truck thru Lone Mountain, not interested in used truck purchase experiences

Hi Redneck Ninja,
I did not get a new tractor from Lone Mountain, I got a used 2009 International. It was always in the shop; about $3,000 a month for repairs. I got behind on my lease payments due to the overwhelming maintenance costs and I never recovered financially. They hounded me morning, noon and night for their payment and also added late fees upon late fees upon late fees. I finally had enough in October 2015, and told them to come get the truck. I've never been happier getting rid of a vehicle. Hope that this helps!

They were selling trading from the mega fleets. Didn't know they had new ones too, but think for a new one probably should deal with an OEM dealer.

I saw a lot of good threads on here about them already , I'm already approved . Comparing their leasing program vs buying and paying the taxes up front it's a good deal and you can write off the payments . You will find it hard to get a better term of rate unless your credit is a rock and you have a history of paid off trucks . It's s capital business investment and they're taking the risk investing in you so the terms are usually high to begin with , The terms are shorter for teams because of expected higher mileage , so instead of 2750 a month for 60 months I would be around 3600 a month for 45 months with the Lone Mountain Spec. They are A rated with the BBB and the complaints I see are from the typical crowd that doesn't want to run too hard . It's not for sissies, it's a lifestyle . They have used trucks for about 1500 a month and 4500 down with a 6 month 50k mile warranty and they encourage you to get it inspected before you buy . I'm either going to buy an Expediter from Freightliner or a new Cascadia from Lone Mountain

I have had no issues. I will be picking my new truck up on Thursday. I went thru the approval process then waited for the company I was leasing on to to get me totally approved. Then called salesperson and made down payment on my choice of new truck. got what I wanted when I wanted. Hope that helps

$170,500 for a Cascadia! No thank you, $2700. X 60 + $8500 is $170,500
