We love Lone Star and there wasn't a lot of info out there about them at the time when my husband first started considering them. So I don't mind answering any questions that I can....

Also with the area that you live in you shouldn't have any issues with getting home for home time. My husbands dispatcher is awesome about that, she doesn't mess around when it's time to get him home!

Sondawgg it won't let me reply to your private message because I don't have a total of 7 posts yet on this forum so I am just going to keep commenting on this until I do I suppose, lol.

I think this should make 7 posts...so I'll try to PM you back now to answer your questions.

Thank you truckers wife. So far everything has been a positive experience. I noticed there was a huge lack of information on here. Some companies are all over these boards

No problem and best of luck to you if you decide to apply to Lone Star!
Sondawgg Thanks this. -
I applied to them last week. Should hear something back today.

Yay! Awesome. Fingers crossed for you!

Who is your husband's dispatcher? Mine is Sarah. I have been at LST for a month as of tomorrow. So far it has been everything promised! Miles are down right now. But expect that to pickup after winter!!!

I got the call today to come for orientation. What does a typical check look like? I'm planning on moving my family to Texas after I get all settled in. Where should I be looking to relocate so I can get the most home time? About how much would I get? Thanks.
