sitting at the shippers and my 14 just ran out. Oops. Not even loaded yet, hope they let me stay here lol, being that it's oversize hope they let me stay till sunrise. Anyway as for the rules the 34 change is going to suck the most, they will end up repealing that one watch, even though it doesn't seem like much at face value I think it's going to have a huge impact on volume of freight that will now be delayed. Team drivers really going to feel it, plus the two consecutive 1am to 5am period requirement is just stupid.

 

Not sure yet, probably some type of steel. I pickup Monday morning and deliver Tuesday morning. Then home by Tuesday night woo!

I agree, it was supposed to be 12-6, but they cut it down to 1-5. I believe it doesn't make any sense, of course leave it up to the gooberment to come up with these rules or for someone who's never driven a truck come up with that stuff. People are going to end up taking 40-50 hour resets because of that dang rule

 

yup some fool with a masters or doctorate at FMCSA doesn't think we get enough RIM sleep apparently.

 

That's exactly it, thinks that EVERYONE has their RIM cycle between those hours

 

In olive branch, MS. At the flying j, I'm in the restaurant next door where they have awesome steaks and live music on Friday nights, this band is doing covers of zz top and they are awesome.

 

picked this up in Round Rock, TX going to Broken Arrow, OK. Electric motor. Not even 11 wide. 30k however so the ride hasn't been that smooth.

But also, had a piece of my load jump off the dunnage, break a supporting L bracket to do so, and land on the trailer today.. Ran to a lumber yard, had them lift it back in place for me, was informed that it was suppost to be tarped, got to Beaumont, tarped it and gonna deliver tomorrow... Hope everyone elses Wed was just as dandy as mine!
Oh yeah, forgot to mention... Im gonna be sporting a mustache now... Gonna try for a Selleck..but thats a hard 'stache to pull off...

In Florida! Delivering a load of paint mix down in silver springs which is only 45 minutes from my house. So I'm home tonight, deliver in the morning, then back home till Tuesday. Woo!
